Volcano Engine Function as a Service
Development Guide
Code development
Node.js runtime
Overview
Overview
When developing functions using the Node.js runtime in veFaaS, you need to follow the Node.js runtime specifications described by Volcano Engine veFaaS.
Runtime environment
The Node.js runtime versions currently supported by veFaaS are listed below. You can select the desired runtime environment when creating a function.
tip
To use a different Node.js version, deploy an image built on a specific Native runtime: include the runtime for your development language in a Dockerfile, build an image from the file, and then deploy the image. Filesystem restrictions
Write operations are only permitted in the /tmp directory within the container. The default temporary storage capacity is 512 MiB. If the capacity limit is exceeded, the service will be evicted and restarted.
tip
Local user data written to disk is not persistent. Data will be deleted when the container is destroyed. Proceed with caution. For persistent storage, see Selecting storage for functions.
