Expanding cloud disks
With ArkClaw, you can expand your cloud disk space by purchasing capacity packages. During the expansion process, all existing data on the cloud disk remains intact and is not lost. If your cloud disk space becomes insufficient, you can select a capacity package to increase the total capacity as needed.
Constraints and limitations
Billing rules for capacity packages
- Select the desired ArkClaw instance. Then, select "File Management" in the left navigation pane.
- On the "File Management" page, select the "My cloud disk" tab on the right. Then, click "Expand capacity" in the upper-right corner.
- In the "File space - Expand capacity" dialog box, select your desired capacity based on your needs. Then, read and agree to the ArkClaw service rules and click "Pay now".
- When you expand your cloud disk capacity for the first time, you have the following options: 20 GiB, 60 GiB, 100 GiB, or 200 GiB. The purchased capacity is added directly to the current base capacity (the default capacity included with your ArkClaw instance).
- Example: If your base capacity is 60 GiB and you select a 20 GiB package, your total capacity will be 80 GiB.
- If you have previously purchased a capacity package for your ArkClaw instance, subsequent expansions will only allow you to upgrade to a higher tier. You cannot select an equal or lower tier.
- Example: If your base capacity is 60 GiB and you purchased a 20 GiB package, selecting a 60 GiB package during your next expansion would increase your total cloud disk capacity to 120 GiB.
- After making your payment, click "Back to page".
- Once the expansion is complete, the new capacity will be automatically added to "Cloud disk usage". You can view this information on the "My cloud disk" tab.
- If you purchased a capacity package for your ArkClaw instance, the package's validity period is automatically extended when the instance is renewed. No additional action is necessary.
