Billing Description

The payer of the PrivateLink service is specified by the service provider and can be either the endpoint account or the endpoint service account.

PrivateLink supports Pay-as-you-go billing methods. Pay-as-you-go is a billing method that allows you to activate and release resources on demand. It eliminates the need to buy a large amount of resources in advance.

Purchase prerequisites

The service consumer account must complete real-name authentication before purchasing PrivateLink resources.

When purchasing PrivateLink resources, please ensure that your account's available balance (i.e. cash balance) is greater than or equal to 0 CNY. If your account is already in arrears, please recharge first. For detailed actions, refer to Recharge guide.

When purchasing PrivateLink resources, please ensure that your account's available balance (i.e. cash balance) is greater than or equal to 0 USD.

Billing Rules

Currently, PrivateLink charges endpoint instance fees and traffic processing fees, billed on an hourly basis.

The overall billing formula is: PrivateLink fee = Endpoint instance fee + Traffic processing fee.

Endpoint instance fee	Endpoint instance fee = instance unit price (yuan/each/hour) × maximum number of Availability Zones in endpoint (each) × usage duration (hours)	An Availability Zone within an endpoint is a billing instance, and the instance unit price refers to the price per billing cycle for each billing instance. The maximum number of Availability Zones in an endpoint varies depending on the billing entity. If the billing entity is the endpoint Account: It refers to the maximum number of Availability Zones at any time during each billing cycle within the endpoint. If the billing entity is the endpoint service Account: It refers to the total maximum number of Availability Zones at any time during each billing cycle for all endpoints within the endpoint service. Usage duration is calculated from the time the order is successfully created, with less than an hour billed as one hour. tip Adding or deleting endpoint Availability Zones and deleting endpoints can change the number of Availability Zones within an endpoint, which may lead to modifications in PrivateLink fees.
Traffic processing	Traffic processing fee = Unit price of traffic (CNY/GB) × Processed traffic (GB)	Traffic unit price refers to the price for processing each 1GB of traffic through PrivateLink. Traffic handled varies depending on the billing entity. When the billing entity is the endpoint Account: This refers to the total bidirectional traffic entering and leaving the endpoint within each billing cycle. When the billing entity is the endpoint service Account: This refers to the total bidirectional traffic entering and leaving the endpoint service within each billing cycle.
