Billing Details
BytePlus Flink consists of one billable resource: computing resource fees.
Billing Methods
BytePlus Flink offers three payment methods for resource pool computing fees:
- Elastic resource pool: Billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. See Pay-As-You-Go.
- Subscription resource pool: Billed on a subscription basis. See Annual and Monthly Subscription.
- Hybrid elastic resource pool: Subscription + Pay-as-you-go. Queues in this mode consist of a fixed part and an elastic part. The fixed part is billed on a subscription basis, and the elastic part is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. See Hybrid Elasticity.

Use Cases
Users can choose a billing model based on their business needs:
- Pay-as-you-go for elastic resource pools: Ideal for trial or testing purposes when usage is unpredictable, data volumes are small, and Flink jobs require frequent starting, stopping, and debugging. This mode has no upfront costs and effectively helps control short-term expenses.
- Subscription for fixed resource pools (Recommended): Ideal for production environments with stable jobs. This mode provides dedicated, stable computing resources and saves on long-term costs.
- Subscription for hybrid elastic resource pools: Ideal for production environments with stable jobs but fluctuating resource utilization. This mode guarantees baseline resources and provides elasticity to handle traffic spikes.
