Dear Realtime Compute for Apache Flink users, we are upgrading the control plane service to provide a higher quality, more stable, and free experience. These upgrades and optimizations will begin in August 2024. See below for details.
For customers who no longer need the service:
- Your data will be cleared if you have not used the product or incurred any charges for over one month.
- If you need to use the service again, log in to the console and manually initialize the product.
- After initializing the product, you can submit a ticket to restore resources such as SQL, which are retained by default for one year.
For customers continuing to use the service:
- Action required: Coordinate a maintenance window to manually restart streaming jobs. Batch jobs are not affected and require no action.
- Expected impact: The control plane service will be interrupted for several minutes. Restarting streaming jobs will cause a 1–2 minute disruption, and batch jobs will not be affected.
Scope of Application
The execution details for this control plane service upgrade/optimization are as follows:
- Frequency: Cleanup will be performed monthly.
- For example: For customers who did not use the product in June and have a bill of ¥0, the product will be automatically cleaned up in July.
- Applicable Regions: North China 2 (Beijing), East China 2 (Shanghai), and South China 1 (Guangzhou).
