Download and install the SDK

This article explains how to download and install the file storage NAS Python SDK.

Prerequisites

Python 2.7 or later is installed.

tip

You can check your current Python version with the python --version command.

SDK download

Installing the SDK

You can install the SDK using any of the following methods:

Install the SDK using the pip command.

pip install volcengine-python-sdk

Download the Python SDK source code and install it with Setuptools. Install using the tool. You can run the appropriate commands to install based on your business needs:

Run the following command to install the SDK for the specified user.

python setup.py install --<username>

Run the following command to install the SDK for all users.

sudo python setup.py install
