Download and install the SDK

This article explains how to download and install the Elastic File Storage (EFS) Python SDK.

Prerequisites

You have installed Python 2.7 or a later version.

tip

You can check your current Python version using the python --version command.

Download the SDK

For the source code of the EFS Python SDK, see Python SDK.

Install the SDK

You can install the SDK in any of the following ways:

Install the SDK using the pip command.

pip install volcengine-python-sdk

Download the Python SDK source code and install it using the Setuptools tool You can run the appropriate commands to install according to your business requirements.

Run the following command to install the SDK for a specific user.

python setup.py install --<username>

Run the following command to install the SDK for all users.

sudo python setup.py install
