This article describes the features of the DMS.​
Supports multiple source data types​
  • DMS 1.0 enables migration of object storage files from leading providers or URL list files to Volcengine Object Storage TOS.​
  • In DMS 2.0 semi-managed mode, you can deploy an agent to migrate local files to Volcengine Object Storage TOS.​

Flexible migration options​
  • Supports both full and incremental migration, and allows you to select the start time for migrating files.​
  • During migration, you can choose overwrite policies such as full overwrite or overwrite based on modification time.​
  • You can set throttling periods and maximum rates for migration tasks.​
Clear migration progress and reports​
  • Provides intuitive migration data, including migrated storage capacity, number of files, and estimated remaining migration time​
  • After migration is complete, you can download the migration report​
