What is Cloud Data Transfer
Cloud Data Transfer (CDT) is a product designed to provide unified metering and billing for cloud network transmission services. CDT offers flexible and cost-effective billing options, including a free quota, pay-as-you-go, and tiered pricing, effectively helping users reduce cloud networking costs.
CDT consolidates billing for multiple cloud services in scenarios where metering and billing are typically fragmented, comprehensively optimizing cloud network cost management. By offering a free quota and tiered pricing, it establishes a flexible and efficient billing system, reducing data transfer costs.
- Upgraded traffic benefits: Offers a public BGP (multi-line) free quota of 220 GB/month, allocated separately for usage within China Mainland (20GB/month) and outside China Mainland (200 GB/month), further lowering your network costs.
- Flexible and cost-effective billing: Public traffic is billed using a tiered cumulative pricing model with a pay-as-you-go basis. You pay only for what you use, and the unit price decreases as your usage increases, helping to avoid bandwidth waste.
- Unified governance: Provides unified traffic billing and tag-based cost allocation across multiple cloud services, improving collaboration efficiency and enhancing financial controllability and predictability.
Supported products and billing methods
CDT offers unified billing only for VolcanoEngine network products and does not incur separate charges. Currently, CDT supports the products listed below. For more details, see Billing.
