All interfaces provided by the key management service communicate through HTTPS, ensuring a highly secure communication channel.
request method
- GET (recommended)
- POST
Note:
- Action and Version in public parameters must be included in the Query String.
- Do not mix the two request methods. If using GET, place all parameters in the Query String. If using POST, place parameters in the Request Body.
- GET is generally recommended. Use POST when the parameter string exceeds 1024 bytes.
- When using GET, all request parameters must be URL encoded. POST does not require parameter encoding.
