GitCode WebHook push configuration
For GitCode code repositories, after you turn on the code source trigger, you need to configure the pipeline Webhook address in the corresponding code repository.
Prerequisites
Select the event trigger settings for the target pipeline and copy the corresponding pipeline Webhook URL. For details on actions, see Code Source Trigger.
Procedure
  1. Log in to GitCode, and navigate to the target project page.
  1. In the project, select Project settings > Service integration > WebHook.
  1. Click New WebHook and follow the prompts to select or enter the configuration information.
  •
    Configuration Item
    Descriptions
    URL
Enter the pipeline Webhook URL prepared in the prerequisites.
    WebHook password/signature key
    Select an appropriate authentication type.
    • Webhook password: A simple string used to provide basic authentication for the webhook. When sending a Webhook request, GitCode includes the password in the request header (X-GitCode-Token: password). The recipient can confirm the validity of the request by verifying this password.
    • Signature key: A more secure authentication method based on cryptographic algorithms, used to generate request signatures. GitCode uses the configured key to encrypt the request body and attaches a signature in the request header (X-GitCode-Signature-256:sha256=signature). The receiver can use the same key and algorithm to compute and compare the signature, thereby confirming the integrity of the request and the legitimacy of its source.
    Content type for POST requests
    Select application/json.
    Event types
Select the push events you need. It is recommended to push all events. Whether the pipeline is triggered depends on the trigger events you select and the trigger conditions you configure in the Code Pipeline console.

  1. Click Complete to complete the configuration.
