Add custom identifier on the client
This document describes how to add custom identifiers on the client side. You can add custom identifiers through the client SDK or HTTP API.
Add custom identifiers via the client SDK
Using the Android SDK as an example, the following request header parameter represents the string identifier shanghai.

// Send custom identifiers via request headers
@Override
public Map<String, List<String>> getExtraHeaders() {
Map<String, List<String>> headers = new HashMap<>();
headers.put("Am-Tag", Arrays.asList("shanghai"));
return headers;
}

The following request header parameter represents the string identifier telecom/hebei/shijiazhuang.

// Send custom identifiers via request headers
@Override
public Map<String, List<String>> getExtraHeaders() {
Map<String, List<String>> headers = new HashMap<>();
headers.put("Am-Tag", Arrays.asList("telecom","hebei","shijiazhuang"));
return headers;
}

The following request header parameter represents the numeric identifier 123456.

// Send custom identifiers via request headers
@Override
public Map<String, List<String>> getExtraHeaders() {
Map<String, List<String>> headers = new HashMap<>();
headers.put("Am-Id", Arrays.asList("123456"));
return headers;
}

Add custom identifiers via HTTP API
When calling the Parse One or More Domain Names API, you can add a custom identifier by adding request header parameters.
For example, the following request header parameter represents the string identifier shanghai.

Am-Tag: shanghai

The following request header parameter represents the string identifier telecom/hebei/shijiazhuang.

Am-Tag: telecom/hebei/shijiazhuang

The following request header parameter indicates a numeric identifier 123456.

Am-ID: 123456
