VolcanoEngine PublicDNS has the following advantages:
Resolution nodes cover all provinces and major ISPs
The recursive resolution nodes of PublicDNS cover all provinces and major ISPs in China, with the total number of lines exceeding one hundred.
High performance
PublicDNS uses BGP Anycast technology to provide multiple access points nationwide. PublicDNS can forward user requests to the nearest access point to quickly obtain DNS resolution results.
PublicDNS caches DNS records. When PublicDNS finds a user's query in the cache, there is no need to send the query to the authoritative DNS; the resolution result can be returned directly to the user.
Reliable
PublicDNS uses traffic scrubbing and IP denylist methods to prevent DDoS attacks.
The PublicDNS public DNS service uses BGP Anycast technology to provide multiple access points nationwide. If a network failure occurs at an access point, PublicDNS will quickly switch to another access point.
Security
PublicDNS's DNS servers are equipped with comprehensive security protection measures. These measures can prevent DNS spoofing, DNS hijacking, and other related issues. PublicDNS does not hijack or redirect user requests.
