Modifying the maximum bandwidth for a Bandwidth Package

You can adjust the maximum bandwidth of a Bandwidth Package instance anytime as your business scales. Adjustment takes effect immediately.

Limits

You can increase or decrease the maximum bandwidth for Pay-as-you-go Bandwidth Package instances, and only increase the maximum bandwidth for Subscription Bandwidth Package instances.

Tip

Decreasing bandwidth cap may affect business traffic and lead to packet loss. Evaluate the possible impacts of the action on your business and proceed with caution.

Procedure

In the top menu bar, select the region and project of your target Bandwidth Package.

In the Shared Bandwidth Package list, click Change configuration to the right of the target Bandwidth Package.

Configure the new maximum bandwidth, and follow the console guidance to review and accept the legal terms.
Click Buy now to complete the action.
Configure the new maximum bandwidth, and follow the console guidance to review and accept the Legal.
Click Buy now.
Click Next, select a payment method, and then click Pay to complete the payment by the selected payment method.

tip

The new bandwidth takes effect immediately. Fees are billed based on the new configuration.
