On September 21, 2026, the App Monitoring SDK in Volcano Engine APMPlus for Android (version 1.5.25) met all requirements of the "Implementation Rules for the Certification of Software Development Kit (SDK) Privacy Configuration Functions" in terms of privacy configuration features and was awarded the "Software Development Kit (SDK) Privacy Configuration Function Certification Certificate" issued by TLC under the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).
The App Monitoring SDK in Volcano Engine APMPlus for Android (version 1.5.25) obtained the Software Development Kit (SDK) Privacy Configuration Function certification. This certification further demonstrates the security and compliance capabilities of APMPlus products and services. In the future, we will continue to actively respond to and implement the security policies and requirements of relevant national authorities. We will also strictly meet compliance requirements, innovate data application features, actively fulfill our social responsibilities, and contribute to network ecosystem development and data security protection.
With the rapid development of the mobile Internet, SDKs have become a critical component in the development of mobile Internet applications (apps). They are widely used in various apps, providing "plug-and-play" functional modules such as location services, payment, and push notifications. The compliance level of SDKs plays a significant role in promoting the healthy and prosperous development of the mobile internet.
To implement the requirements set forth in the "Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Further Improving the Service Capability of Mobile Internet Apps", which call for SDKs to optimize their functional configurations and enhance personal information protection features, TLC and the Technology and Standards Research Institute under the CAICT jointly developed the "Technical Specification for SDK Privacy Configuration Capability Certification". This specification comprehensively evaluates SDK functional modules and configuration options for personal information collection and carries out certification accordingly.
This certification program aims to help SDK developers distinguish between basic and extended business functions, as well as necessary and optional personal information, and to optimize product privacy configuration features. This enables app developers to flexibly configure SDK features based on their use cases and conveniently control personal information collection behaviors. Certified SDK products will be issued a certificate that can be verified on the official website of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA). A dedicated section will also be established on the National SDK Management Service Platform to showcase certified SDK products, guiding app developers to select SDK products with stronger personal information protection features and further improving personal information protection across the mobile internet industry.
