Redis 4.0 changes to gray release
Since the Redis community has stopped maintaining the Redis 4.0 version, Cache for Redis will change Redis 4.0 to the gray release.
June 13, 2024.
- During the gray release period of the Redis 4.0, creating new Redis 4.0 instances is not supported by default. Previously created Redis 4.0 instances can still be used. For more details about Redis 4.0, refer to Commands supported by Redis 4.0.
- Instances of the Cache for Redis 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0 are fully compatible with the Cache for Redis 4.0. It is recommended that you use a higher version of Redis to obtain more features and functions.
- If you still need to create a Redis 4.0 instance, submit a ticket to contact technical support.
