Navicat is a graphical database management and development software, suitable for MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLite, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. It features an explorer-like graphical user interface and supports multiple database connections, both local and remote.

Prerequisites #

• Please install Navicat in advance and acquire the corresponding commercial authorization.

Usage Restrictions #

Suggested use with ByteHouse Cloud Data Warehouse version 2.2.0 and above for a better experience using MySQL connection method. You can see the current service version number on the ByteHouse Console - Tenant Management page.

Connection Steps #

1. Open Navicat, click on the upper-left corner icon, and select to create a MySQL Datasource.

2. Fill in the fields below.

• {HOST}:{PORT} fields depend on the region where the cluster is located, click 支持的地域及可用区Search.
• User field by default is bytehouse.
• Password field is API key, refer to 获取 API Key.

3. Switch to the SSL tab, activate Use SSL.

5. Click Test Connection, if "Connection Successful" appears, it means the connection is successful.
