Launch virtual warehouse #

When the status bar on the right side of the virtual warehouse displays "Stopped", then the virtual warehouse is in the terminated state. In this state, no charges are incurred for computing resources.
Either of the following options can be used to restore a suspended virtual warehouse:

1. In the list page, select the virtual warehouse and click the Activate button in the upper right corner to launch one or more virtual warehouses;
2. Click Activate in the drop-down menu on the right side of the list page to restore a specific virtual warehouse.
   

Suspend virtual warehouse #

Either of the following options can be used to suspend a running virtual warehouse:

1. In the list page, select the virtual warehouse and click the Suspend icon button in the upper right corner to terminate one or more virtual warehouses;
2. Click Suspend in the drop-down menu on the right side of the list page to terminate a specific virtual warehouse;
   
3. After enabling automatic suspension for the virtual warehouse, if there are no query requests within the configured time, the virtual warehouse will be suspended automatically. The following intervals are currently supported for configuration:

• 5 minutes
• 30 minutes
• 1 hour
• 6 hours
