ByteHouse Intelligent Assistant provides intelligent Q&A and AI log retrieval features to help you quickly get started with ByteHouse. The system supports the AI log retrieval feature and allows you to convert natural language into log retrieval SQL statements, helping you quickly locate features with anomalies and improve problem-solving efficiency. The intelligent assistant also supports linking to the knowledge base you created, enabling more accurate answers and pinpointing problems. This article introduces how to use Intelligent Assistant.

ByteHouse Intelligent Assistant relies on ByteHouse's built-in knowledge base and, by enhancing retrieval capabilities, provides services for knowledge queries and answering questions, covering scenarios such as product use, business knowledge, and many other scenarios. Additionally, the intelligent assistant supports linking to knowledge bases you have created and can combine your business and industry knowledge to provide more accurate answers to usage questions, analyze abnormal events, and improve problem-solving efficiency. The intelligent assistant is currently focused on ByteHouse product knowledge Q&A and does not support inquiries about other products or fields.
ByteHouse intelligent assistant can help data developers, database administrators, and analysts improve work efficiency, and can be applied in the following scenarios:

• Intelligent Q&A: Through conversations with the intelligent assistant, you can quickly get answers to problems you encounter while using ByteHouse.
• AI Log Retrieval: The intelligent assistant supports log insights, summarizes key points from logs, analyzes potential problems, and provides optimization suggestions. The intelligent assistant also supports generating SQL statements from your natural language instructions and retrieving the corresponding records.

This feature is in Beta. To use it, please submit a ticket or contact the ByteHouse team to obtain allowlist permission.

ByteHouse Intelligent Assistant support linkingKnowledge BaseTo associate a knowledge base in the intelligent assistant, ensure the following preparations are complete:

• You have obtained knowledge base Manage permissions. You can view whether you have manage permissions by navigating to ByteHouse Cloud Data Warehouse Console > Access control > Users > Your Username > Resource privilegesPath. To obtain authorization, please contact the system administrator.
  
• You have created a knowledge base. For activity details, please refer to the relevant information.Quick start: create and import a knowledge base。

Intelligent Q&A #

ByteHouse has a built-in default knowledge base that can answer questions related to ByteHouse PM. You can quickly obtain ByteHouse-related knowledge by asking the intelligent assistant.
On any page in the ByteHouse Console, click Intelligent assistant, enter your question, and click the Send button to access relevant knowledge.

You can also click the Knowledge base button in the intelligent assistant input box and select the corresponding knowledge base, so you can use your business knowledge base to accurately answer questions.

AI log retrievals #

The intelligent assistant provides AI log retrieval and analysis features, supports log insights and SQL statement generation features.日志检索分析Feature use: improves log retrieval and analysis efficiency.

Log insights #

1. In the ByteHouse Console, click SQL worksheet. Then, click the Log Retrieval Analysis button to enter the Log Retrieval Analysis page. On this page, click Intelligent assistant.
   
2. Accoding to After the relevant operation generates log search results, click Log Insight to the right of Breakdown. The platform will automatically generate insight instructions and automatically analyze the current search results, analyze potential problems, and provide optimization suggestions. You can optimize as needed.
   You can also click the Knowledge base button in the intelligent assistant input box and select the knowledge base to use together with your business Knowledge base. This helps improve your understanding of log problems and the accuracy of log retrieval.
   To obtain more detailed analysis, you can also continue entering insight commands in the input box, and the intelligent assistant will continue to analyze for you.

Generate SQL statements #

Click the first icon at the lower left of the input box, select Generating SQL Statements, enter a natural language instruction, and click the Send button. The intelligent assistant will automatically generate the corresponding SQL retrieval statements. You can click Query, and the platform will retrieve and show the corresponding record details.
The following example queries logs within the specified time period that contain the specified keywords:

Generate SQL using natural language #

ByteHouse Intelligent Assistant supports generating SQL statements from your natural language input, and provides features such as generating query sample statements, SQL query optimization, and many other features. You can use natural language to provide content such as table structure, field type, business scenarios, and more. The intelligent assistant will automatically generate the corresponding SQL statements.
On any page of the ByteHouse Console, click Smart Assistant, enter a natural language command in the input box, and click the Send button. The Smart Assistant will automatically generate the corresponding SQL statement.
You can copy the statement, replace the placeholders with actual information, and then execute the statement at SQL worksheet.
