Configure alert policies
You can configure alert policies for the relevant CloudFS metrics according to your business requirements. When a monitored metric becomes abnormal, the system will send alert notifications in the manner you specify, allowing you to promptly identify abnormal metrics. This article describes how to configure metric alert policies.
Notice
CloudFS has certain performance limitations, such as bandwidth and QPS. It is recommended to configure appropriate alert policies based on your business needs and these limitations to avoid business impact caused by rate limiting.
Prerequisites
For the prerequisites for configuring alert policies, see Create alert policy.
Steps
  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  1. In the left navigation pane, select Alert Center > Alert Policies.
  1. On the Alert Policies page, click Create alert policy.
  1. On the Create alert policy page, select Resource type as Storage > Big Data File Storage, and configure the alert parameters. The main parameters are described as follows:
tip
CloudFS supports configuring alert policies based on the cache space dimension. For details on other parameters, see Create alert policy.

    Trigger condition
For details on the monitoring metrics supported by CloudFS, see Metric description.
Common trigger conditions are as follows:
Average total cache space usage > 60%, sustained for 120 cycles (1 cycle = 1 minute), alert level is Warning, which means the system checks resource metrics every minute. If the average total cache space usage of a resource exceeds 60% for 120 consecutive minutes, an alert of warning level is triggered.
It is recommended to set specific trigger conditions based on your actual business situation.

  1. After completing the settings, click Create.
