Enable cache acceleration
If cache acceleration was not enabled when creating an HDFS-mode file storage instance, it can be enabled after creation. Enabling cache acceleration improves file storage speed.
Prerequisites
Before enabling cache acceleration for an HDFS-mode instance, you need to create a VPC, subnet, and security group. See Create a private network, Create a subnet, and Create a security group.
Steps
  1. Select the target Region from the top menu bar.
  1. In the left navigation pane, select File Storage List, then click Enable cache acceleration next to the target storage instance.
  1. In the Enable cache acceleration dialog box, select the acceleration baseline type, set the cache acceleration capacity, and configure private network, subnet, and other information, then click OK.

    Configuration
    Note
    Category
Select the acceleration baseline as needed. Currently, Performance Type 1 and Performance Type 2 acceleration baselines are available.
If you choose to purchase the Performance Type 1 baseline, each TiB of capacity provides 200 MB/s of available bandwidth.
    Capacity
Set the cache acceleration capacity according to your actual business scenario.
You can also expand the cache acceleration capacity later. See Expand cache capacity.
    Private network
Select an existing VPC from the drop-down list.
If no VPC is available, click Create a private network to create one. For detailed instructions, see Create a private network.
    Subnet
Select a subnet from the drop-down list.
If no subnet is available, click Create a subnet to create one. For detailed instructions, see Create a subnet.
    Security group
Select a security group from the drop-down list.
If no security group is available, click Create a security group to create one. For detailed instructions, see Create a security group.
