Manage VPCs for instances

Enable or disable full subnet access

For private networks already mounted to the instance, you can subsequently enable or disable full subnet access as needed.

Notice

If there are VPCs in the file storage instance that are in the mounting or unmounting state, you cannot simultaneously perform actions to enable or disable full subnet access for other VPCs. A message will be displayed indicating that the file storage instance status is incorrect.

Enable full subnet access

Select the target Region from the top menu bar.

In the left navigation pane, select File Storage List and click the name of the target file storage instance.

On the instance details page, click the Private Network tab.

Under the Private Network tab, select the target private network, then click Enable Full Subnet Access on the right.

In the pop-up dialog for secondary confirmation of enabling full subnet access, click OK.

Check the VPC status.

After the task to enable full subnet access is issued, the VPC status will display as Enabling. When the status displays as Normal, it indicates that the full subnet access feature has been enabled.

Disable full subnet access

Select the target Region from the top menu bar.

In the left navigation pane, select File Storage List and click the name of the target file storage instance.

On the instance details page, click the Private Network tab.

Under the Private Network tab, select the target private network, then click Disable Full Subnet Access on the right.

In the pop-up dialog for secondary confirmation of disabling full subnet access, click OK.

Check the VPC status.

After the task to disable full subnet access is issued, the VPC status will display as Disabling. When the status displays as Normal, it indicates that the full subnet access feature has been disabled.
