Delete ACL
After creating an ACL, if users no longer require the corresponding permissions, delete the ACL promptly to maintain least permission.
Prerequisites
  • The Kafka instance status is Running.
  • Before deleting the ACL, ensure that no running application is authenticating via this permission policy to avoid impacting online business.
Note
When setting auto-creation of Topics , if you switch on ACL user auto-authorization, permissions for all users to create and delete Topics will be automatically granted. However, switch off ACL user auto-authorization will not automatically remove these permissions.
If not all users need permissions to create and delete Topics, delete the ACL promptly.
Operation steps
  1. Select the region where the instance is located on the top menu bar.
  1. Click the specified instance name on the Instances page.
  1. Click ACL management on the top tab bar.
  1. Find the ACL to be deleted on the ACL management tab.
  • You can also filter ACLs by user name, resource name/prefix, or IP in the upper right corner of the tab.
  1. Click Delete in the corresponding Actions column.
  1. Confirm the details of the ACL to be deleted in the pop-up dialog box, then click Delete.
