Instance renewal
To avoid service interruptions, you can enable automatic renewal or manually renew your subscription-based instance before it expires
Prerequisites
  • The instance must be running or stopped.
  • The instance's billing type is subscription.
Note
Only subscription-based instances support renewal. Pay-as-you-go instances do not require renewal but require sufficient available account balance. For more details, see Arrears or expiration instructions.
Background information
Message Queue for Kafka supports the following two renewal methods:
  • Automatic renewal: You can enable the automatic renewal function when creating new subscription instance. This can avoid potential disruption to your business due to forgetting to manually renew the instance before its expiration. Once enabled, the system will automatically renew the instance before each expiration. Therefore, you need to ensure your account has sufficient available balance.
  • Manual renewal: You can manually renew your instance at any time before it expires.
Enable automatic renewal
