Notification channel overview

The Auto Scaling service supports notifications about scaling operations via multiple channels, such as internal messages, SMS, email, and alert callback. This way, you can promptly learn about changes in a scaling group.

Notification channel type

A scaling group supports two types of notification channels: event notification and message notification.

Event notification	Scaling activities can be synced to the Event Center of Cloud Monitor. You can configure detailed rules and multiple notification channels for monitoring events to automatically manage scaling activities. Limits

Each scaling group only supports creating one event notification and one message notification.

After an event notification is created, the message notification is automatically disabled. After the event notification is deleted, the message notification is automatically enabled.

Only the root user can manage the message notification feature. For related operations, log in to Volcano Engine with the root user.
