You can convert the billing method for a MySQL instance from monthly/annual subscription to pay-as-you-go at any time according to your business needs.
Prerequisites
- The instance has been created and is in the Running status. For specific operations, refer to Creating an instance.
- The billing type of the instance is monthly/annual subscription, and the instance has not expired.
- You have read and understood the Description of Resource Change Billing Rules.
- Your account balance is greater than or equal to 100 CNY.
Procedure
- Log on to the RDS for MySQL console.
- In the upper-left corner of the top menu bar, select the project and region for the instance.
tip
If the project to which the instance belongs is not set, this operation should select the project as All resources.
- On the Instances page, click ... in the operation column of the target instance. Select Switch to pay-as-you-go. Alternatively, select multiple target instances and click ... > Switch to pay-as-you-go in the lower-left corner of the page for a batch operation.
tip
You can switch up to 20 monthly/annual subscription instances to pay-as-you-go in a single batch operation.
- On the Switch to pay-as-you-go page, complete the settings and click Confirm order.
- Confirm the selected instances.
- Read and check Database product and service terms and Unsubscribe rules.
- On the Confirm order information page, confirm the order information and click Next step to complete the process.
tip
After you submit the order, the instance status changes to Billing method changing. After the billing method is changed, the instance status becomes Running.
