Go SDK

Go SDK overview

The Volcengine Log Service (TLS) Go SDK encapsulates the common interfaces of Volcengine Log Service (TLS). You can use the Go SDK to call server-side APIs to implement log collection, log query, and other features.

Notice

In addition to basic functionality, the Go SDK provides convenient and flexible Golang libraries, namely Go Producer and Go Consumer.

Go Producer is used for rapidly sending log data in scenarios involving massive amounts of data. For information on how to use Producer and configure related parameters, please refer to GitHub.

Go Consumer is used for asynchronous consumption of log data and supports consuming multiple log topics within the same project. For instructions on how to use Consumer and configure related parameters, please refer to GitHub.

Description

For the update log and version notes of the Volcano Engine TLS Go SDK, please refer to GitHub. We recommend selecting the latest version of the SDK to experience the latest product capabilities and more stable service.

Sample project

The TLS Go SDK provides a wide range of sample projects for your reference, covering common scenarios such as log collection and resource management. For more information, please refer to the GitHub example project.

GitHub example projects	Description
Log project management	Example code for log project management, including creating log projects, modifying log projects, viewing log projects, and deleting log projects.
Log topic management	Example code for log topic management, including creating, modifying, viewing, and deleting log topics.
Log management	Example code for log collection and query, including creating related resources, collecting log data, configuring indexes, and querying and analyzing logs.
Producer sends logs	Sample code for Producer to send logs. Producer features asynchronous sending, high performance, failure retry, graceful shutdown, and other features. TLS recommends that you use Producer to report logs. For information about Producer configuration, please refer to TLS Go Producer.
Consumer's consumption log	Sample code for Consumer consumption log. Consumer supports load-balanced consumption of data from all shards under a log topic, and features asynchronous consumption, high performance, failure retry, graceful shutdown, and other features. TLS recommends that you use Consumer to consume logs.
TLS account management	Provides sample codes for TLS account management, including obtaining account status and activating log service.
