This topic describes how to use the RocketMQ Java client SDK to send and receive messages via Message Queue for RocketMQ in VolcanoEngine.​
Description of version​
The RocketMQ Java client SDK supports connecting to Message Queue for RocketMQ in VolcanoEngine. We recommend client version 4.8.0. For details, see Java SDK download link.​
Preparations​
Follow the steps below in order:​
  1. Add the Maven dependencies.​
  1. Create resources in the VolcanoEngine console.​

Send and receive messages using the Java SDK​
Parameter description​
When using the Java SDK to send and receive messages through VolcanoEngine Message Queue RocketMQ Edition, you need to configure the appropriate parameters. For more information, see Parameter description.​
