Create vePFS backup source

This document describes the steps and considerations for creating a vePFS backup source.
Prerequisites
- Complete CBR cross-service authorization to allow CBR access to other services and resources in your account. When using CBR for the first time, complete cross-service authorization as prompted by the console.
- Create the vePFS file system that requires backup. For detailed steps, see Create vePFS file system.
- Enable data migration function on the vePFS file system side. For detailed steps, see Data migration overview.
- Configure data migration bandwidth for the vePFS file system that requires backup. For detailed steps, see Configure Data migration bandwidth.
Steps
- Log in to the Volcano Engine Cloud Backup Console.
- In the top menu bar, select the region where the target file system is located.
- In the left navigation bar, select Backup Source Management > vePFS to enter the vePFS Backup Source Management page.
- Click Create Backup Source.
- Select vePFS file systems.
tip
If you select multiple file systems, a corresponding backup source will be created for each file system.
- Click OK.
