This document describes how to delete recovery points on the CBR console and the related considerations.
Prerequisites
The target recovery point must be in Available or Error status.
Notes
- Deleting a recovery point will also delete its data and free the corresponding backup storage space.
- Deleting a recovery point will not delete data referenced by other incremental backup recovery points; such data will remain in the backup storage space.
- Deleting a recovery point is irreversible; proceed with caution.
- Deleting recovery points consumes high TOS QPS; contact technical support if you need to adjust related settings.
Steps
- Log in to the Volcano Engine Cloud Backup Console.
- In the top menu bar, select the target region.
- In the left navigation bar, select Recovery point management to open the Recovery point management page.
- In the list, click Delete in the Actions column corresponding to the target restore point.
- In the Delete recovery point dialog box, click Confirm.
