Precautions
  • Byteplus has established (and will continue to improve based on technological advancements) the necessary technical measures to defend against network security threats or behaviors (referred to as "Network Harmful Behaviors"), including computer viruses, network intrusions, and attacks (including DDoS). However, due to the evolving nature of network security technology and the unpredictability of network attacks, if your website encounters Network Harmful Behaviors that harm Byteplus or its other networks or servers (including local and remote networks, and servers), or affects the smooth communication between Byteplus and specific networks, servers, and internal networks, Byteplus may decide to suspend or terminate the service. If Byteplus terminates the service, the service fee will be calculated based on the actual months of service provided (calculated by day for less than a month), and any remaining balance (if applicable) will be refunded. Byteplus will not be responsible for service availability impacts caused by network hazards.
  • You should not excessively occupy or cause programs or processes to excessively occupy server memory, CPU, or network bandwidth resources in Byteplus's cloud computing resources, thereby placing a significant load on Byteplus or its users' networks, servers (including but not limited to local, remote, and international networks and servers), products, or services, affecting the smooth connection between Byteplus's cloud computing resources and networks, or causing downtime, crashes of Byteplus or its users' servers, or inaccessibility of products or services based on the Byteplus platform.
For more information on the usage rules of DBW, refer to the Database products and service terms.
