This article introduces the billing items and prices of the veDB MySQL database in Database Workshop (DBW).
Billing overview
The following billing items are involved in using the Database Workshop (DBW).
V2 Database Audit & Full SQL Insight Billing Items
warning
V2 Database Audit corresponds to the SQL details feature of Full SQL Insight. If only SQL details are used during activation, only log storage, log collection, index storage, and index traffic fees will apply. If additional features like SQL write analysis are used, DBW will charge for full aggregation analysis fees on top of the aforementioned items. Actual charges may vary.
V1 Database Audit Billing Items
tip
Since V1 Database Audit is billed through TLS, enabling both V1 and V2 Database Audit may result in dual charges. It is recommended to disable V1 Database Audit.
Billing rules
Billing rules for V2 database audit & full SQL insight
tip
Since the SQL details recorded in full SQL insight are all V2 database audit information, the SQL details in database audit and full SQL insight are not billed separately.
When only V2 database audit is enabled, log storage fee, log collection fee, index storage fee, and index traffic fee will be charged. If you enable full SQL insight at the same time, a total aggregation analysis fee will be charged on top of the above fees.
Cost calculation formula
Taking the region China South 1 (Guangzhou) as an example, the total costs when full SQL insight is not enabled and when it is enabled are as follows:
- Costs when full SQL insight is not enabled:
- Total cost = 0.0042 (CNY/GiB/hour) × Log storage × Usage time + 0.18 (CNY/GiB) × Log collection volume + 0.0042 (CNY/GiB/hour) × Index storage × Usage time + 0.35 (CNY/GiB) × Index traffic
- Fees when full SQL insight is enabled:
- Total cost = 0.0042 (CNY/GiB/hour) × Log storage × Usage time + 0.18 (CNY/GiB) × Log collection volume + 0.0042 (CNY/GiB/hour) × Index storage × Usage time + 0.35 (CNY/GiB) × Index traffic + 0.08 (CNY/GiB) × Total aggregation analysis volume
