Announcement of Changes to Cloud Service Metrics

Change log of WAF metrics

The Cloud Monitor team will soon adjust the monitoring metrics for WAF, aiming to provide you with a more accurate and comprehensive monitoring experience.

The metrics of WAF in Cloud Monitor are expected to be upgraded at 22:00 on June 25, 2025 (UTC+8). After the upgrade, more comprehensive and accurate metrics and more dashboards will be used. After the upgrade, the original alert rules will become invalid. You need to reconfigure alert rules after the upgrade. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

toutiao_iaas_plb_monitor_service_stats_service_out_bytes_2	waf_agent	Usage deprecation	Before the change, the metric was used for consumption and alerting. After the change, the usage purpose of the metric is none.	This change does not affect the normal operation of cloud service instances and your business. Monitoring dashboards can still display data based on metrics. If an exclamation mark (!) is added before an existing alert rule, it indicates that the alert rule contains an invalid metric, and the alert will no longer be triggered. You need to modify the metric in the alert rule. If you do not remove or update the metric for an existing alert template, you cannot save the template.
