Regions and availability zones
This topic introduces the list of regions and availability zones supported by vePFS.
- Region: The geographic area where a physical data center is located. Resources cannot be moved to another region once they are created. The internal network between different regions is fully isolated to ensure stability and fault tolerance.
- Availability zone (AZ): A physically separate area within a region with independent power and networking. Whether or not to place resources in the same availability zone depends primarily on your requirements for disaster recovery and network latency.
