vePFS Agent

vePFS Agent Overview

vePFS Agent is an intelligent analysis tool provided by the file storage service vePFS. This article introduces basic information about vePFS Agent.

The vePFS Agent feature is currently in invitation-only testing. To use it, submit a ticket or contact your account manager.

Introduction

With vePFS Agent, you can view file system usage, analyze directory capacity and growth trends, and receive product usage recommendations:

Data Insights: Query file system capacity levels, Fileset usage rates, and information about long-term inactive directories.

Consulting: Ask questions about vePFS billing, mounting, and data flows, and access links to relevant official documentation.

vePFS Agent supports submitting requests using preset cards or natural language queries:

Preset Card: Suitable for quickly initiating common analysis or consultation tasks. You can select recommended questions from the Data Insights or Consulting groups, and the system will automatically fill the preset question into the input box. After selecting or referencing the target file system, you can submit a request and view the results

Natural language query: Suitable for scenarios where you already have a clear analysis goal or question You can enter your question in the input box and use @ to reference the target file system for more targeted analysis results

Use cases

Scenarios	Description
Product configuration consultation	Consult on vePFS billing, mounting, data mobility, and other related topics to support solution design and configuration choices.
Capacity Analysis and Optimization	View file system capacity levels, directory capacity distribution, and capacity trends; identify long-term inactive directories to support capacity planning and storage cost optimization.

Page overview

Region	Description
Left navigation bar	Switch between Standard Mode and Agent Mode, create new conversations, and view task history.
Conversation input box	Enter natural language questions or automatically fill preset questions from preset cards. Click the + button at the lower left of the input box and select @ Reference Resource, or type @ in the input box to open the file system selector. The selector supports filtering file systems by Availability Zone.
Preset card area	Display recommended question groups related to data insights and solution consultation. When you click a preset card, the system fills the corresponding preset question into the input box.
Workspace on the right	Displays the analysis report returned by vePFS Agent. After the report is generated, click Download Report in the upper right to save the current report as a local file.

vePFS Agent is currently free of charge.
