vePFS Agent

Use vePFS Agent

This article explains how to use vePFS Agent.

tip

The vePFS Agent feature is currently available by invitation only. To use it, submit a ticket or contact your account manager.

Prerequisites

To use data insight capabilities, make sure data insight is enabled on the target file system For more information, see Data Insight Overview.

tip

After enabling data insight for the first time, the system scans the file system. Once the scan is complete, you can access it in vePFS Agent Afterward, the system automatically rescans each day at midnight. After the scan, the Agent receives the latest insight data.

Steps

In the top menu bar, select the target region.

In the left navigation bar, click the Agent mode icon to go to the vePFS Agent New Task page.

You can submit requests in the following two ways.

Submit requests using preset cards
Submit requests using natural language
In the preset card area, select the target question group.
Data Insights: View information such as file system capacity levels, fileset usage, and inactive directories.
Solution Consultation: Consult about vePFS billing, mounting, and data migration issues.
Click the target preset card. The system automatically fills the preset question into the input box.
(Optional) For some questions, you need to select or reference the target file system (referenced with @). The input box displays a file system selection list that fills in automatically after selection.
After confirming the question is correct, press Enter or click the send icon.
View the analysis or consultation results returned by vePFS Agent.
Enter your question in the input box for consultation or analysis. To reference the target file system, click + in the lower left corner of the input box and select @ Reference Resource, or type @ directly in the input box to open the file system selector.
After confirming the question is correct, press Enter or click the send icon.
View the analysis or consultation results returned by vePFS Agent.
