Scenarios
To enable connectivity between two Transit Router (TR) instances across regions, inter-region attachments require bandwidth packages to provide bandwidth resources. After completing the creation of an inter-region attachment, you can add it to or remove it from a bandwidth package as needed.
Procedure
Add to a bandwidth package
- Click the name of the target TR instance.
- In the section below Basic information, select the Inter-region attachment tab.
- Click Add to bandwidth package to the right of the target inter-region attachment, select a bandwidth package, and allocate bandwidth.
- Click OK to complete the action.
Remove from a bandwidth package
warning
Removing an inter-region attachment from a bandwidth package automatically deallocates its bandwidth, which may cause cross-region access disruptions. Proceed with caution.
- Click the name of the target TR instance.
- In the section below Basic information, select the Inter-region attachment tab.
- Click Remove from bandwidth package to the right of the target inter-region attachment and confirm the resource information.
- Click OK to complete the action.
