Event tags are used to flexibly circle events, allowing multiple tags to be attached to events as needed to better establish a mapping relationship between events and the scope of analysis. While improving the efficiency of data management, it also allows enterprises to shift from passive data collection to active design of data assets, laying a structured foundation for subsequent data intelligence analysis and business data insights.
tip
- Starting from the privatized V5.4.3 version, DataFinder has added event tag functions for event tracking requirements, general events, virtual events, and circled events.
- The difference between event tags and event classification: both event classification and event tags are essentially used to manage events in groups. The main difference is that tags are more flexible. An event can only have one classification (one for each public classification and one for each individual classification), but multiple tags can be added to an event, and the tags are universal for all events, without distinguishing between public or personal.
Function introduction
The event tag itself is a hierarchical structure, which can be understood as Key-Value form, and supports up to three layers (ie Key-Value-Value-Value), each of which supports associated events, including event tracking requirements, general events, virtual events, and circled events.
For example:
- Key hobby, Value is running.
- The hashtag "Hobbies - Running" can be associated with running-related events.
- The tag Key is the user, the first layer Value is gender, and the second layer Value is created on gender for male and female.
- The "user-gender" tag can be associated with gender-related events.
- The "user-gender-male" tag can be associated with male-related events.
