Cluster overview
After logging in to the Dashboard, you are taken to the Dashboard homepage by default, where you can view the cluster overview, node list, and other data metrics.
  • Cluster overview: Displays a data overview of the entire cluster.
  • Nodes: Displays the list of nodes in the cluster and node information.
  • Metrics: Displays all data metrics within the cluster or a single node.
Cluster overview
The Cluster overview page provides a data overview of the entire MQTT cluster. You can view message ingress/egress rates, number of connections, topic count, subscription count, and monitoring views for various metrics.
  • Message ingress/egress rate: Messages refer to the data content transmitted by all MQTT clients after connecting to the MQTT instance. Through visualized rate curve charts and real-time rate values, you can clearly monitor changes in the rate of message sending and receiving within the current system.
  • Number of connections: The number of connections refers to the number of clients currently connected to MQTT. You can view the total number of connections and the number of online connections in real time.
  • Topic count and subscription count: Topic count is the total number of topics that all clients have subscribed to within the MQTT cluster; subscription count is the total number of topics subscribed to by each client.
  • Node data: In the middle area of the overview page, you can view the overview of the entire MQTT cluster, including a visual display of the distribution of all nodes in the cluster. You can also view information about the current node, including node name, number of connections, subscription count, topic count, and other basic information.
  • Monitoring metrics: In the bottom area of the overview page, you can dynamically monitor changes in message count, number of connections, topic count, and subscription count within the MQTT cluster.
Broker
The nodes page provides a list of all nodes currently in the MQTT cluster. You can view node name, status, uptime, version information, Erlang process usage, memory usage, and CPU load.
Click the Refresh button in the upper right corner to view the latest information for the current node list in real time.
You can also click the node name to view node details. On the node details page, you can view more complete node information in the Node Information and Node Statistics cards.
  • Node Information: You can view basic information such as node name, status, running duration, version information, CPU load, Erlang process count, and system memory count, as well as the system path and log path of the current node.
  • Node Statistics: You can view the current node's statistical data, including number of connections, subscription count, topic count, retained message count, and session count.
tip
The data in the Node Statistics card is divided into two parts, separated by a slash (/). The data on the left shows real-time data, while the data on the right shows the high watermark, which is the maximum value reached by the current data.
Metrics
On the metrics page, you can view all data metrics generated during the use of the MQTT cluster or a specific node, including message information, message statistics, and traffic transmission statistics. These metrics allow you to understand the current service status.
You can switch between cluster and node in the upper right corner of the page to view data from different perspectives. Click the Refresh button to view metrics data in real time.
