Create a denylist

Create a denylist

MQTT provides a function to disable clients, allowing you to directly reject connections from malicious or attacking clients.

Note

Clients already connected to MQTT will be disconnected if they are added to the denylist.

Add a denylist

In the Dashboard navigation bar, select Access Control > Denylist, then click Create in the upper right corner of the page.

In the creation dialog, set the object to disable, expiration time, and reason, then click Create.

Parameters	Description
Object to disable	Select the attribute to disable by client ID, username, or IP address, and enter the corresponding value.
Expiration time	Set the expiration time for the denylist.
Reason	Enter the reason for creating this denylist.
