Use MQTT Agent
This article describes how to use MQTT Agent in the Message Queue MQTT console.
tip
MQTT Agent is an invitation-only feature. To use it, contact your account manager.
Before using MQTT Agent, ensure the following preparations are complete:
- The Cloud Message Queue MQTT Edition service has been enabled, and an MQTT instance has been created.
- The current account has permissions to view resources such as MQTT instances, clients, and device credentials.
- To troubleshoot client issues, it is recommended to prepare the instance ID, Client ID, endpoint, port, protocol, error information, and the time when the issue occurred in advance.
- In the top menu bar, select the target region.
- In the left navigation bar, click MQTT > MQTT Agent.
- On the MQTT Agent New Task page, select any of the following methods to use the Agent as needed.
Ask questions using natural language input
Ask questions using preset cards
- Enter the issue to be analyzed in the input box and send it.
- To reference a target instance, click + in the lower left corner of the input box and select &Reference Resource, or enter @ in the input box and select the target instance from the pop-up instance list.
- View the results returned by the Agent, and focus on distinguishing between confirmed facts, possible causes, recommended actions, and items that cannot be confirmed.
- If there are recommended actions, follow the prompts to proceed.
- Select the target question in the preset card area as needed.
- Data insights: View detailed instance configuration, topic and partition overview, consumer group overview, and other information.
- Solution consulting: Learn about self-hosted MQTT migration solutions, bandwidth and specification estimation, consumer timeout parameter configuration, and more.
- When you click a preset card, the input box will automatically be populated with the text related to the question.
- (Optional) Some questions require referencing a target instance. The input box will display a list of MQTT instances that can be referenced, which you can select as needed.
- View the results returned by the Agent, focusing on distinguishing confirmed facts, possible causes, recommended actions, and items that cannot be confirmed.
- If there are recommended actions, you can follow the prompts to navigate to the relevant page and handle them.
- Do not enter passwords, AccessKeys, Tokens, device credential plaintext, or sensitive business message content in the conversation.
- The results returned by the Agent are based on currently available information and product documentation. To locate production issues, continue verification using console monitoring, client logs, and business-side information.
