Subscription management
On the subscription management page, you can view the subscription list and the topic list.
Note
  • The subscription list is organized by client, while the topic list includes all topics that have been subscribed to. The same topic may appear under different clients.
  • If different clients subscribe to the same topic on the same node, the topic list will be deduplicated.
View the subscription list
On the Subscription management tab, filter subscriptions and view subscription information.
Based on the mapping between Client ID and Topic, all topics subscribed by connections and their basic subscription information are displayed.
Parameter descriptions are as follows:

Parameters
Description
QoS
MQTT provides three levels of quality of service (QoS).
  • QoS 0: At most once delivery; messages may be lost.
  • QoS 1: At least once delivery; messages are guaranteed to arrive, but may be duplicated.
  • QoS 2: Exactly once delivery; messages are guaranteed to arrive and will not be duplicated.
Prohibit local forwarding
If you subscribe to a topic to which you also publish messages, you can choose whether to receive the messages you publish yourself.
  • The default is False, which means you receive the information you publish yourself.
  • When set to True, the server will not forward messages you publish to you.
Retain status on publish
When the server forwards messages to the client, whether to retain the RETAIN flag in the message.
  • The default is False; regardless of whether the message contains the RETAIN flag, the flag will not be retained.
  • When set to True, if the message contains the RETAIN flag, the flag will be retained. If the message does not contain the RETAIN flag, this option is invalid.
tip
The configuration of this parameter does not affect the RETAIN flag in retained messages.
Retained message handling
When a subscription is established, whether the server sends retained messages to the client:
  • The default is 0, which means that as long as the client subscribes successfully, the server sends retained messages.
  • When set to 1, the server sends retained messages only if the client subscribes successfully and the subscription did not previously exist.
  • When set to 2, even if the client subscribes successfully, the server does not send retained messages.

View the topic list
On the Topic tab, filter topics and view topic information. Based on the mapping between topics and nodes, all topics subscribed by connections on each node are displayed.
If different connections subscribe to the same topic on the same node, the topic list will be deduplicated.
Click Create monitoring in the operation column next to the topic to create topic monitoring, which provides real-time statistics for metrics such as the number and rate of messages sent and received under the specified topic. For details on how to add, see Topic monitoring.
tip
Topics containing the + or # wildcard do not support topic monitoring creation.
