User management
For users who use the built-in database, you can add users and passwords on the user management page for client authentication, and you can also batch import authentication-related user information.
- In the Dashboard navigation bar, select Access Control > Client Authentication.
- On the client authentication list page, locate and click the target authenticator.
- Under the User Management tab, click the + button in the upper right corner.
- In the Add dialog box, set the client username and password, then click Save.
tip
If the client user is set as a superuser, this user will bypass all subsequent permission checks.
You can also download a template, fill in user authentication information in the template, and then import authentication-related user information.
- In the Dashboard navigation bar, select Access Control > Client Authentication.
- On the client authentication list page, locate and click the target authenticator.
- Under the User Management tab, click the ↑ button in the upper right corner.
- Select the import method, then click Download Template.
- Both Plaintext Password and Encrypted Password methods are supported; please choose as needed.
- Open the template locally, then fill in the user authentication information and save it.
- In the import user dialog box, click Click to Select File, then select the local template file, and click Import.
- Edit user: Click Edit in the user operation column to modify the password or set as superuser.
- Delete: Click Delete in the user operation column to delete the user. If there are clients using this user, they will no longer be able to connect to MQTT.
