Bucket policies
Overview
Overview
Bucket policies are strategies that apply to individual buckets and their associated resources. You can use them to grant other users permission to access the corresponding resources.
Use cases
Use a bucket policy if you need to:

- Set specific authorization conditions.
- Apply different permissions to different users or resources.

Bucket policies only apply to object-specific actions if the bucket and object owners are the same. Objects not owned by the bucket's owner are not governed by bucket policies by default. To manage such objects through bucket policies, set the objects' ACLs to bucket-owner-entrusted. For instructions, see PutObjectACL. Configuration methods
