Which operations update an object's last modified time?

The LastModifyTime property indicates when an object was last modified. Certain object operations may update this timestamp.
The following table lists the operations that update an object's last modified time.
Operation | Related API |
Rename a directory or object | tip HNS buckets support the renaming of directories or objects via the RenameObject API by default. However, for HNS buckets, you must first enable the RenameObject feature before using the API to rename objects. Please note that directory renaming is not supported. |
Append data to an object | tip This API only supports HNS buckets. |
