Why do I receive an "InvalidPathAccess" error when using tools such as Boto3, S3cmd, or the S3 SDK to request TOS?
TOS does not support path-style URL access. Only virtual-hosted–style URL access is supported. To enable virtual host-style URL access, you need to modify the tool's configuration. The difference between the two types of access is as follows:
- Path-style URL: The bucket name appears in the path of the HTTP URL.
- Virtual-hosted-style URL: The bucket name appears in the domain name of the HTTP URL.
https://tos-s3-cn-beijing.volces.com/{bucketname}
# Virtual-hosted-style URL
https://{bucketname}.tos-s3-cn-beijing.volces.com
When I install tosutil or TOS Browser on macOS, a prompt appears stating that the app is from an unidentified developer. What should I do?
Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
- On the macOS desktop, click System Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Privacy & Security.
- In the Security section, select App Store and identified developers.
- For the message "TOS Browser" cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer, click Open Anyway.
- In the box that appears, click Open.
