Viewing bucket details
From the TOS console, you can view basic information about the buckets in your account, export that information to your local device, and then view it in Microsoft Excel.
Notes
By default, the owner of an account has full permissions. Identity and Access Management (IAM) users have no permissions by default. If an IAM user needs to perform any of the following operations, the account owner must grant the user the appropriate permissions using an IAM or bucket policy.
  • View bucket details: tos:ListBuckets
  • View access permissions: tos:GetBucketAcl and tos:GetBucketPolicy
  • View default storage type: tos:HeadBucket
  • View redundancy type: tos:HeadBucket
  • View capacity-related metrics: Volc_Observe:GetMetricsData

  • Similarly, a bucket is considered publicly writable if its ACL permissions and bucket policy allow public write access. Otherwise, public write access is not allowed.
  • The bucket permissions displayed on the Buckets page are calculated based on existing bucket policies and ACL permissions. IAM policies are not considered.
