Flow control event metrics
This topic introduces the flow control event metrics available for TOS and provides an example of event notifications.
Supported metrics
tip
Event metrics are divided into two categories: resource and reporting thresholds.
  • Resource threshold: The maximum amount of TOS resources available to the current account. For more information on the default maximum usable resources, see Limits.
  • Reporting threshold = Resource threshold × 0.8.

Event notification example
Once an event rule is set up for flow control purposes, the system will send notifications through your chosen channel whenever a relevant event occurs or the reporting threshold is met. Below is an example of an event notification.

{
"data": {
"AccountId": "214748****",
"BucketName":"bucketname",
"PercentThresholdLevel": 100,
"QosPolicySid": "qospolicy-c862",
"TrafficSource": "net_all"
}
}

The fields are described below:

Field
Description
AccountId
Specifies the ID of the Volcano Engine account being reported.
BucketName
Specifies the name of the bucket being reported.
tip
The BucketName field only appears in event notifications for bucket flow control events.
PercentThresholdLevel
Specifies the traffic value triggering the event notification as a percentage of the resource threshold.
QosPolicySid
Specifies the name of the QoS policy.
tip
The QosPolicySid field appears in event notifications only when the events are governed by a QoS policies.
TrafficSource
Specifies the source of the traffic that triggers the flow control event notification. The values are explained below:
  • extranet: From the internet.
  • net_all: From both the internet and private networks.
