TOS provides a network speed test tool in the console. This tool can test access speeds with and without transfer acceleration when a client accesses TOS in a specific region. The tool helps you evaluate the effectiveness of transfer acceleration and the quality of network connectivity between your current client and TOS in different regions.

Notes

Before using the tool, please close any other applications that may be using bandwidth to ensure accurate test results.

Testing may take longer if the network is unstable or if cross-border speed tests are being conducted. Thank you for your patience.

Steps

In the left navigation pane, click Network speed tool.

Select the region(s) you want to test and click Detect immediately.

tip

You can select multiple regions and test transfer speeds simultaneously from the client to each region.

The speed test is complete when the Velocity state changes from Detecting to Success. Then, the tool page shows the upload and download speeds between the client and TOS, both with and without transfer acceleration.

FAQ

Why does the velocity state show "Failed" when testing the speed to access TOS using the network speed tool?

This may be due to network instability causing request timeouts. We recommend checking your network conditions and using the network speed tool again once the network is back to normal.
