Creating applications by using existing code
This topic describes how to quickly deploy an application by using a local Nuxt.js project and the veFaaS CLI.
Prerequisites
The CLI has been installed, and other preparations have been completed. For details, see Preparations and Installing the CLI.
Procedure
  1. Use npx nuxi init to create a Nuxt.js project.

node -v
> v20.19.6
npm create nuxt@latest

  1. Use npm run dev for local development.

cd nuxt-app-1229
npm run dev

  1. Run the deploy command. veFaaS automatically identifies the project and deploys it.

# One-click deployment. Using --yes to directly use the automatically detected build and start commands.
vefaas deploy --newApp nuxt-app-1229 --gatewayName $(vefaas run listgateways --first) --yes

  • The core command descriptions are as follows:
  • --newApp: Specify connecting to a newly created application in the current directory. In this example, the application name is nuxt-app-1229.
  • run listgateways --first: Obtain an available APIG instance. When the gateway is available, a serverless gateway is preferentially selected.
  • --yes: Automatically confirm. veFaaS populates the build configuration via inspect, and then triggers the application creation, upload, and deployment.
